DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO RESERVE FIRST TIME OVER NIGHT REQUEST

For first time clients requesting our 24hr/over night dog/house sitting service:

Aone time, $70.00 non-refundable payment must be received within three days of receiving your email confirmation in order to reserve yourrequested dates, or we cannot promise they will still be available.

This will be considered payment for your sitter'sfirst day. It is not an additional payment, but is not refundable if you cancel your confirmed dates.

"SLEEP OVER NITE"

BLOCK IN YOUR HOME

The limit on a 12 hour block is two "consecutive"

nights ONLY.

The 12 Hour Block is ideal for someone who is only away for no more than one or two nights, and will be back in time to let their pooch out within a few hours after their sitter leaves.

If your dog needs a 15 minute, afternoon"let-out" visit for day one or day two of this block, add $12.00 to each let out.

This rate is part of the

HOW THE 24 HOUR SLEEP OVER RATE WORKS:

Thefullday charge ($70.)

begins as of 10:00 AM on the first

day of the sittersshift regardless of what time she arrives- and after

11:00AM on the day the client returns. If the client returns before 11:00 AM on the day of return, there is no charge for that day.

When Melynda or I stay at someones home, it is to provide 24 hour care and attention to your pets, your home and your peace of mind. It becomes House Sitting as well.

Your dog(s) will go out to go potty when ever he or she wants, and if your dog gets walked and is well behaved on the leash, will get 2 good walks each day, maybe more depending on the weather!

We tailor the length and pace of the walk to your pet's specific needs and ability to be sure they get a sufficient amount of fun and exercise during each outing.

When it's nice outside, we willrelax togetheron your porch or patioto enjoy the fresh air.

Or, with your permission (if your dog is socialized & well behaved) we might go to the park, for a walk on the canal, or take a field trip to Dogs & Cats Rule, Petco or Petsmart, or have a nice walk down the path into town from the New Hope Eagle Fire Company or the school.

One favorite for well socialized dogs is to visit the pet stores in New Hope and Lambertville to get a yummy treat!

If you have a small, older pooch, or one who doesn't walk comfortably any more, I can bring myDog Stroller so we can get some fresh air if it's nice out. Your furkid needs to be under 25 lbs. for this luxurious stroll!

If you want your furbaby really pampered,we will take the fuzzy little prince or princess to your local groomer if you make the appointment and payment arrangements before you leave. (Please add $10 for taxi servce if your groomer is more than 3 miles from your home)

Your pets will be very spoiled and loved, and kept on their routine feeding and medication schedules.

Your home will look no different than usual on the outside, during the day or night, and it will be kept clean & orderly on the inside.

Your pooch will be petted, brushed, have lots of play time and will be loved ... and is very welcomed to sleep where I do. My smaller clients tend to actually sleep on or up against me! I love to spoil my fur-clients!!

*With the clients permission, if a supply like treats, kong stuffing, dog food, special water, fresh food, wee-wee pads, medications,etc.. run out, I can go to the store and replace it if you don't want your baby to be without it. The client will be presented with the receipt and will be added to the bill along with a $10.00 travel charge if the item was not available in New Hope or Lambertville.

During 24 hour sits, Melynda orImay need to leave one to two times each day or evening to tend to personal errands such as a trip to the store for food, a run home to let my dogs out, or have a quick meal at home ... or other personal or religious obligations.

Your dog generally will not be left alone during the day or early evening for more than 2-3 hours at a time -unless you request other arrangements, which must be requested upon your initial inquiry and beforeour Getting Acquainted meeting.

If I need to leave your home to tend to something beyond 3-4 hours, I will tell you so we can discuss it.

*An additional charge of$10.00 will be added to your bill for each "requested by the Client" car trip with your dog be it for a field trip or to the groomer if it is not in New Hope or Lambertville .. or within 3 miles of your home.

In-town New Hope or Lambertville trips to the canal, walking paths or park are not charged extra for locals.

SERVICES OFFERED

With any 24 hour Sleep-Over, as time & circumstances allow, dog sitting can include any of the "Full Service" items.

The rates are the same!

These services are:

- Poop picked-up from your yard.

- Bring in the mail/newspaper

- Trash can put out & brought back

- Water indoor & outdoor plants

- Adjust or check heat/air conditioning temp

- Aternate indoor& outdoor lights, shades & blinds for that "lived in" touch.

- Any reasonable request to keep your pooch and home happy & in good order!

And of course, always TONS of love, belly rubs, cuddles, TLC and endless attention for your pooch!

How you would like your sitter to use her time in terms of walking, playing, feeding, brushing, plant care, etc. is always up to you! Include any of these or other needs on your list for your sitter ahead of time.

Although the areas your sitter uses will be neat & clean upon your return, house cleaning services and laundry services are not part of your sitters responsibilities.

A NOTE to CANINE PET PARENTS

Please understand that I cannot help you if during your absence, you ask me for service which will leave your dog alone for more than 5-6 hours at any time between my visits or your return.

I myself am the slave, I mean mom, tothree dogs, and I am also an animal rescue foster dog mom, so I understand we all have times when we need to be away for more than afew hours.

However, I cannot in good or professional conscience take responsibility for someone elses pup or pooch being alone that long for the safety, health & well being of that pet.

For those who want our Relief Service, for the health & well being ofour doggy kidz,Ido not offerthis servicefor more than a 48 hour period.

Let's talk and see what other options may be better suited for your furbaby while you are away.

45 minute relief visits are perfect for the pet parent who is only going to be away for the day or evening, and will be returning that same day, evening or night - or the next day, and just needs someone to stop in to let the Furkidz out and have them fed a meal or some yummy treats!

Also an important service for someone with a short illness who could use an extra hand with their pet.

PLEASE NOTE:

We do not offerRelief visitsas a regular daily or weekly service.

This is an occasional courtesy for those in New Hope or Lambertville.

Have a DOG and a CAT?

Need Kitty Cat's litter box scooped; feed him and give kitty fresh water and treats during your pooch's visit?

Please add $5.00 to each visit this kitty service is requested.

DOG & PARROTS or BIRDS?

No charge to just give seed & fresh water. Need me to give Mr. Feathers fresh seed, water and fresh cut veggies/fruit, clean the bottom of his cage?

A $5.00 charge applies to each visit this service is requested.

DO YOU HAVE A MENAGERIE?

Rabbit, Gerbil, Hamster or Guinea Pig?

No charge to just feed & water the wee ones.

No extracharge to feed the fish!

Going Away for a Few Days?

Do you need someone to make your home look lived in while you are away? Such things as bringing in the mail, news paper, turn lights off and on, draw the curtains, run hot water through the pipes in the winter, start your car, water your indoor plants, feed the fish, check your heat or cooling temp, be there to let in service people, etc.....?

- One visit per day is $20.00

NEW HOPE - LAMBERTVILLE ONLY

Substancial Outdoor Garden orLawn Watering in the Spring or Summer, please add $10.00 to that visit.

I will give it a good, loooong soaking.

ABOUT OVER-NITE/SLEEP-OVERS

I supply my own food,
clean linens, blanket, pillow,
towels & toiletries as needed.

Please do not be concerned about not having a guest room or extra bed.

A sofa or big chair works just great & is preferred.

It is my preference, when possible, to stay on the main floor of the home, in the primary family room orliving area on the first, or main floor overnight.

This providesimmediate access to the front door or an exit in case pooch needs to go out late night, or to exit quickly with your dog in case of an emergency.

If possible, your dog or dogs need to bepermitted to sleep where I do for their safety and my piece of mind.

Sadly, I am very allergic to cats ... yes, that really stinks!

Terry can only spend 1 hour (maybe less)with the cute little furballs.. and that'swith medication!

If available, Melynda is your girl for over night house/dog sitting when you have a kitty too.

FOR A KITTY VISIT ONLY

I have several clients with cats and they will tell you that for cat service, I will not provide care for less than one visit each day when the clientis away.

We offer a once a day visit to feed, refreshKitty's water, change, sweep or refresh the litter, check on their well being, pet, cuddle and play with them to make sure they get some stimulation every day.

Most cat visits are done by one of my cat helpers.

If you are interested inour daily Cat Only Visit,the rateis$15.00 cashfor a30minute visit every day until you return.

The New Client "Get Aquainted Meeting"

Our first meeting is a time to get aquainted andshould last about 60minutes or so.

Iwill meet yourFurbaby & get to know him or her.

You & I willanswer each others questions,and if we agree this is a good match, wewillcomplete the necessary paperwork anddiscuss detailed instructions on how you would likemeto care for your pets and your home while you are away.

You will show me everything I need to know about to care for your dog/s ...and transfer 2 keys to me along with any written information you may also have prepared.

If you would like to, feel free tohand me one or two of your dogs favorite treats or kibbleas I come in. I will offer it to your dog when I meet him or her.

If you feel comfortable, please allow your dog or pup to greet me as he or she would if you were not present so I know what to expect when I enter alone.

Please read"Preparing for Your Pet Sitter"for more information.

KEY RETURN: No charge to locals.

Please tellme ifyou would like me to keep your house key on file so in the future I can care foryour dog or cat if you cannot make it home in time, or for emergencies.

Only your pets nameis placedwith your key for security.

IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION

What if the roads are so bad, your Dog Sitter cannot get to your home?

* WINTER CONCERNS *

Snow removal & providing pet safe salt or gravel is not part of my services.

During the winter months,scheduled clients are responsible for having any outdoor walking and parking areasneeded by your dog sitter, reasonably cleaned and maintained to help prevent injuries and to assure your pet sitter has safe access to your pets.

If you need to hire a pet sitter in the winter months, you should make prior arrangements for reliable snow and ice removal in the walking and driving/parking areas around your home while you are gone.

If your pet sitter needs to buy pet safe salt, gravel or litter, the cost of the material (with the receipt) will be added to your bill in addition to a $15.00 charge for going to the store to obtain the material in the bad weather.

If you supply it, there is no extra charge to sprinkle it during a scheduled visit in order to maintain the safety and access of previously cleaned walking and parking/driveway areas.

ALERT!

Please make any arrangements you can ahead of time with a neighbor to get to your pets if your pet sitter cannot get to your homeas scheduled due tosevere weather or road closures. Please be sure their emergency key works.

Pleasegive the neighbor your pet sitter's cell # and home phone # - and his/her # to your pet sitter during the bad weather months. This generally applies from mid November thru March.

If a client is away and I know a bad storm is approaching, I will do my best to be sure all pets scheduled that day are cared for ahead of the storm and are given extra food and water in case no one is able to reach them for their next meal.

Please instruct your sitter if your pet is to be moved into a specific room in your home to be safe, warm and to limit the damage from accidents during a prolonged period alonedue to sever weather.
-
It's a good idea to keep wee-wee pads on hand or a water proof throw or canvas for such situations. Please do not ask your sitter to tie, tether or chain your dog to something.

"BLOCKED"

Dog Sitting timeto help fit your schedule and your dogs needs on a temporary basis.

Blocked time works well for puppies and young dogs up to 6-8 months of age who need regular play and potty outings, socialization, basic obedience reinforcment and constant supervision.

Blocked time is also good for non-critically ill dogs, elderly dogs, and those with difficulty or anxiety when being left alone.

Blocks are also perfectfor families who just want the comfort of having a companion for Fidoor FiFi while they are occasionally out for a few hours during the day or evening(please note this is not a daily or regular weekly service)

Blocked Time is really ideal for visitors staying in a New Hope or Lambertville hotel or B&B wanting to spend a few hours on the town without their dogs.

Most Hotels & Inns do not allow you to leave your dog alone in your room, so my service will let you enjoy a nice dinner, shopping or time out while knowing your pooch has companionship, is being kept buzy, has been walked, fed, and is safe.

Arrangements must be made by the visitor with their accommodations host to be sure pets are welcomed.

This service is based upon my availablity.

Advanced reservation always suggested.

Blocks cannot be combined with other blockedhours.

All Blocked Time Must be Payed in *CASH and in Advance.

* Clients must call their sitter if they need her to stay longer, other wise, your sitter will leave when the block ends as expected..

.* If while you are out, you find you need to extendmore time to your scheduled BLOCK, regular half hour and full hour rates apply after each 10 minutes into the next half hour and will be added on until your return.

Payment is expected in cash immediately upon return.

* Extended time or time added to any Block is based on the availability of the sitter. If the client does not return within 10 minutes as scheduled, the sitter will leave as expected.
